Its a hate bandwagon nothing else. There are thousands worse bands. I guess their infamy stems from how formulaic and soulless their music is. They are like a parody of what radio rock is supposes to be. It shows that the (((powers that be))) can get behind any average group and turn them into an overnight sensation.

They are close but I would say nickelback has more iconic vocals for the sound they are going for. It's very important for this style to have almost no range emotionally-- this is how REAL MENS music should sound.
