If you think about it, the bridge is symbolic for the incel struggle, or the concept of self-improvement in general. The lower structure has a bridge leading to the higher structure, but every single step is an unstable blade of grass, every single step will send you falling further down. And even if you somehow managed to get to the higher structure, that structure is empty, hollow. Self-acceptance is the only option. Who you are may not be enough, but you will never be anything else, and you have to come to terms with that.
