There was a moment in my life when I was really isolated for big amount of months. I still talked to my family (not as it was in the past) but I had almost no discussions online and I didn't go outside. Effects on my cognitive functions were very obvious to me. I used to be well spoken in my youth but years of isolation have done this to me. It is almost like my mouth isn't used to speaking. I have to repeat what I say so much because of how much my words slur together.
