My grandmother visits us quite often and she is just like my mother although a bit less annoying. i don't know if you have seen my post about potentially meeting my classmates from when i was still in school, and i refused (obviously) because they are s*xhavers (one of them for sure, the other one i don't know). When my mother asked me why i don't want to go meet them, i said "you won't understand". She asked "is that because you haven't met with them in a while?".

They will never understand. My parents will never understand that i simply can't be friends with people who look noticeably better than me. If someone is more than 1 standard deviation above my looks level in every category (which is virtually everyone) i don't want to deal with them. Nothing good can come out of that.
