So I can't see the results because of swelling and bandage, but apparently surgeon was able to reduce the recession by about 80% basically which is good. Hopefully the final results will be OK in a few days time.

I have to drink food for two weeks at least apparently. Kek.

Yeah, kinda, corrective surgery.
One of my facial defects is that my mid-face is very recessed - when I was a kid it caused breathing difficulties.
So the surgery is basically breaking my mid-face bones and with artificial inserts reconstruct the midface so it is more spacious and protrudes more.

Yeah, pretty OK, after a nap. I can feel my face now, and the pain.
Have to stay in overnight and hopefully go home tomorrow.

Idk what to do in the next few days tbh.
No work. Can't do anything strenuous. Can't eat nice foods. Can't drink alcohol. Kek.

Protein power+ fruits+ Stevia+ Ice+milk and blend everything. Thickness depends on quantity of milk tbh.

I have one or two surgeries for the jaw coming up depending on how this one turned out. That should hopefully be the end of it.

Not all out of pocket, and I have private insurance which covers a little.

Technically all these surgeries are for defects which have been documented since childhood by my paediatrician.
