What really affects teenagers is lack of wisdom (crystallized intelligence). Most teenagers make bad decisions based on lack of knowledge, but they learn very fast unless they have an IQ lower than that of the average agecuck.

It's the parents' responsibility to educate them and teach them how to defend themselves against potential threats. Now, if teenagers know their adult counterparts well and want to engage with them, hopefully start families, then NOBODY should bat an eye.

Making sexual and romantic decisions aren't that hard anyway, and girls mature earlier and faster than boys. (Could it be because nature intended such a thing as girls marrying adult men once they hit puberty?)
