Maybe I wasn't that ugly before. Maybe all this time my mental health issues are what kept me back. Maybe the acne, the big glasses, the fatness weren't all that bad.

But now I'm nearly bald. Hair so thin I can see the many pimples on my head.

I am now undoubtedly ugly. I can't tell myself deep down that I'm probably handsome and just need to fix a few things. Baldness is too much, it would make most men ugly. I am now truly ugly.

When I talk with people they look at my receding hairline. It is so disturbing and once you notice this you notice every time people do it. It used to be not like this when I had normal hair. They look just like they are looking at a disabled person.

Bald men are truly second-class citizens, automatically seen as inferior. Makes me very sad, I've squandered my youth, never had the quintessential experiences a young person should have, and I've already jumped to old man problems.

My days are numbered. My crown remains intact for now, but my hairline has been receding for some time, and now I'm noticing my hair falling out.

I'm afraid of baldness. I'm 24 and recently I think I've started noticing some temple recession, but I'm not 100% sure because I hadn't been paying much attention to it until very recently. It's so weird to me because I've always had a baby face and I look very young for my age. Also can't grow a beard. My hair is very thick, typical southern European hair.
I've looked at some of my old ID photos from 5-6 years ago, but I had a different hairstyle back then and the photos are blurry so it's a bit hard to tell.
I definitely have some thin shorter hairs around my hairline, but I think I've always had that, even when I was a kid.

Hopefully the reaper shows some mercy and doesn't go beyond nw2 by the time I'm 60. After that I don't care. My dad is NW2 at 55, mom has some thinning too, but no recession. No NW2+ on my dad's side and my grandfather on my mother's side is NW2 at 70. Unfortunately, some other family members from my mother's side are NW3+.

For now I'll cope by convincing myself I'm getting a "mature" hairline or that it's all in my head, but we all know that's mostly bullshit. Some men have a juvenile hairline until they die.
