I am 163lbs (74kg) as of yesterday I let myself fall into disrepair so I have been wallowing in a depressive state seeing guys who are in shape having no trouble socializing and forming close bonds while I rot, especially now that it's summertime and there's even more activity and foot traffic outside and all I see is these 110lb 5'2 guys who are stealing all the coochie. Is there anything I can do besides training with weights and a resistance band in order to lose around 20lbs?

Fasting/keto was the quickest way I was ever able to do it went from 400 to 370 very quickly.
Then lost all motivation ending up where I am now at my heaviest ever.

What do you usually eat in a day?
 
When I go hardcore into it
I’ll fast for a few days, then eat meat/fish hard boiled eggs and salad. Avoiding sugar and carbs.
Got taken out of my routine when I broke down a few weeks ago door dash was limited to pizza burgers and fried food think I gained back at least 2-5.
Electrolyte water is the key to fasting long term, can buy it or make it yourself.

Cardio but even moreso diet determines how much fat you'll burn and how fast

I do HIIT 3 times a week. Then weight train the rest
 
that is not a lot of weight. It depends on your height. But if you want to lose weight, cardio options are the best. If running is too hard, start with walking at a brisk pace, do a stationary bike, or an elliptical.....assuming you have access to something like that. Swimming is also a good low impact idea if you have access to one and can swim.

stop eating ! you're welcome. i dropped ~15 pounds by just deciding to eat less.

My largest weight was 260lbs once, down to 210lbs now. I like to think my chain smoking has killed my appetite some to lose weight because about the time I started smoking is the same period of time I started losing weight. Something about smoking that makes hunger go away, I can't describe it very well.

Was a chain smoker know it well. Vape doesn’t seem to have the same effect
When I worked in a warehouse lunch was the last thing on my mind wanted as much nicotine as possible as fast as possible

Currently i am a bit of a fat motherfucker myself 95kg but the best advice i can give u what has worked for me is when u get into a good groove of losing weight/eating healty. Don't do any cheat meals/ off days. Do not see it as a reward for dieting good. But it will most likely get u addicted to the same crap again u are trying to get off.

So eat clean with no exceptions. Have a party? (jfl ur on this forum) Cancel it or any other social gathering that will have any negative influence on your eating habbits. :feelsokman:

You're in no way a fatcel but literally eat less. Especially if you're lazy and know you won't exercise regularly. Track what you eat (actually track everything truthfully and carefully, use an app for it) and eat well below your daily burned calories and you should be fine.

Might be wrong here because im stupid but what I think I picked up also was: Exercise is highly recommended but the actual burned calories by running or something aren't that much of an impact, but the muscle you build from regular activity will increase your daily burned maintenance calories

Just gotta count the calories bro. I find I could eat 1400-1500 a day without feeling hungry much.
