Cope I admit - I never really understood the relationship between Yoh Asakura and Hao Asakura in the manga “Shaman King”

I have been going through a life crisis, seeing all the Hao Asakura avis has made me come to terms with the fact that - I must have skimmed too lightly over the dialogue regarding Yoh and Hao.

I am disturbed, because I have gone through every chapter of Shaman King, however, the dynamic between Yoh and Hao is confusing to me.

• Who actually wins the Shaman Tournament?
• Who gets the Great Spirit?
• Did Hao become God?
• What did Yoh get out of the tournament?

I am so focused on understanding Hao’s character that I have started reading Shaman King again starting from Chapter 61, which is the first chapter he is seen in. @Animecel2D do you understand the ending of Shaman King.
