Hypothetically, if you graped a woman in another country, would a criminal record follow you back to your home country?

Like lets say you got convicted of grape in Sweden or something. Would the USA or Canada care about your conviction in so far as jobs n stuff on a background check? Would it show or come back clean? If it shows up, would you lose your rights n all that too or not?
