this ship is breached. you have to realize that the times in which the human spirit and mind were once dependable sources and basis of morality are long gone.
in a similar manner to how god became dead, the soul and the mind, virtue, morals and ethics, to summarize, humanity itself, followed him after a couple of centuries to that same graveyard.
there is little humanity left in people. humans became desensitized to anything they experience because they already saw it before or have A priori about it. with little posteriori that is beneficial to humane actions and humanism, this leads to less sympathy/empathyand other humane reactions that are needed to give birth to true virtue and ethics.
stripped of any of those real humane reactions, everything became fake that we peaked in fakeness. this is a new age in which materialism and solipsism proved to trump over idealism, rationalism and other schools of thought.
virtue, morals and ethics these things became empty husks of their original forms. people don't value them anymore because they realize it's easier to "act" these values or even defy them rather than truly believing and following them. everyone knows it's just a big theatrical act while very few people remain with true good intentions in this world. there is little rewarding motive for these actions and it's decreasing, the human moral duty is dead.
it's over. it's truly over and there is nothing we can do to reverse "death" and those things died in us.
