Theory How to make friends? Post theories

It's hard to make new friends. Usually new friends don't last or are just a bit more than acquitances. Depending on meeting new people to form bonds is a lose-lose situation.

I hardly made other friends after HS. I mantain the same friend group

I can't read all of that right now, but the trick is going to events that happen regularly and that have the same people showing up everytime.
Examples:
- car meets
- volleyball training
- dance lessons
- gym
