Discussion How to deal with clingy parents?

It reminds me of a reverse NEET, lol

By clingy I mean... can't shake off, always want to be involved, make everything about them, etc.

And you can't push them away because you'd feel bad.

So... you either have to let them do it or just make choices that mean you're basically avoiding them.

Has anyone here had to deal with this?

if possible, move out. Narcissistic parents will prioritize their own well-being over their own kids, if you stay to long youll be consumed by them
