Came home and my mother wondered when I am going to get a gf... that I can't just expect to find someone while not actively searching for someone... holy cow if they just knew how times have changed. They can't relate to what we are undergoing. It's impossible to find someone if you don't have common friends or if you look average and therefore can't take advantage of the dating apps. At the workplace everyone is already taken and in the clubs/bars there is no reason to even think about it since the girls there are 1. Trash 2. Are only interested in having fun and dancing and not looking for someone, especially if that guy is average.
