How to operate in a communist country:

1. Call foreigners hereditary reactionaries
2. Call the enemies fascists
3. Label progressivism as Western colonialism
4. Point to the communist countries' social conservativism as a example that conservativism itself is revolutionary while progressivism is bourgeois

The idea is to create a divide between 'revolutionary' races (Oriental) and 'reactionary' races.

Many of people live in places like Vietnam and China. The problem is that they are openly anti racist and progressivist, so we will need to improvise and optimize our language a bit. Trust me, when you speak the right tone, many communists would become based overnight.

Also, most people react with labels and emotions rather than the abstract idea of what the ideology actually is. No one cares about dialectical materialism; all they care for, is that we (communists) good, they (fascists) bad.

Exploiting this is 4D chess move.

Most contemporary and historical communist states would be considered far right by todays standards already.

This is true. Communist countries' these days opt for extremely limited immigration policies, knowing that mass immigration will inevitably bring instability and undermine the relative equality between the people and the elites.

For example, religious immigrants tend to spread religious (sometimes ethnicity included) supremacy, which is a big no no if you value the relative stability and equality of the society.

I believe the ruling class pursues their interests first and then rationalization / ideological gymnastics comes second.

I am not sure if they are even communist.

An example of this could be socialism with Chinese characteristics.

it's so fake, facade.
This is true. But their interests can line up with the regular people too. Communist countries, and many regular countries, fear one thing, and that is instability.

China these days is more fascist than communist, they just keep the whole communism branding as a sort of nostalgia and legacy thing.

I believe the same goes for vietnam

Label progressivism as Western colonialism
Btw current Hindu Nationalist government of India has similarly says that Progressivism and Western Liberalism is Western colonization and colonial ideas

Most of the communists states of 20th century are isolationist and anti-globalization

The progressive brand of identity politics is quite literally western imperialism because the US uses the human rights excuse to intervene in domestic affairs of foreign countries all the time and liberals will cheer them on while falsely claiming to be antiwar.
