Driving with my dad tonight, all round was the main city lit up with thousands of lights and hundreds of buildings. This is one city in a sea of tens of thousands upon this earth

I got me thinking, how the hell do we even run all this? The power? The maintenance?, how did people even build all this shit anyway?

I mean how people can build and maintain all of this, i felt like everyone should be too broken and depressed to do anything. I then I realized that I was just projecting myself upon Everyone else


But yeah you know what fuck it am not even going to try and sound intelligent my fuckin hands are all blistered up so it hurts typing right now

There is a reason why they are hiring so many immigrants, they are cheap enough and obedient (because they lived in much worse environment beforehand) to maintain these jobs. Nowadays, locals simply avoid lowly, blue collar jobs that usually pay little in lots of countries.

I feel the exact same way. I believe the vast majority of people are legitimately unhappy and force themselves to contribute to society based on expectations from others and morality (they feel it's immoral to leech off the work of others without contributing themselves).

I feel like if most people looked at their lives objectively, they would become demotivated and give up, realising the effort they put in isn't worth it.
