Its unfathomable how a magician does it, to get someone in the right spot at the right time referencing the correct names, sequence of numbers, favourite country or whatever. Then the magician can cut to some random footage of themselves in that exact random location in another country with that exact random person who is related to that exact random person plucked from the crowd in a random sequence of events. I can understand trap doors and shit like that because that's fuckin obvious to perform, we've all seen the infamous masked magician with his death defying stunts he would perform each week which was generally based on trap door variants to escape flaming caskets an shit. I just don't understand the latter where a sequence of random events comes together at the end like clockwork. Not even AI is that intelligent surely to organise a complex random sequence of events on the fly :whatfeels: .

Nuclear trubs.

Its just mad how they do it, how the magician can somehow film a video in another country with an exact person who is related to some random person plucked from a random sequence of events. Surely there's an assistant backstage setting up a green screen or something of the corresponding sequence of events but it looks really authentic to me.

Its so deceptively fake because of how slick its presented. Its so misleading to the audience and viewers who believe the sequence of events to be genuine. The chosen audience are all in on it, even the judges if present, and oc the people backstage who organise this shit and present it as an 'illusion'. I suppose its easy to just 'nod along' with the whole process then every dumb ass thinks they're the next Harry Potter.

Magic seems to be based on conning the viewing public into an illusion. All parties are in on it which makes it deceptive, its fine to have an illusion but the fact that we're lied to by the chosen assistants makes it so fake and misleading to the viewing public.
