I think a lot of people are already aware of the "blackpill" on some level. The men who deny that looks matter, or claim they are unimportant, do so because admitting the truth would mean confronting their own low position in the hierarchy. Nobody likes to admit they are losing to something beyond their control, so they moralize against "superficiality" as a way to shield themselves. Women, on the other hand, have little incentive to speak about it openly. Many avoid it because they do not want to appear shallow, but more importantly, it does not affect them in the same way it affects men. A man's value is conditional, built on what he can achieve and provide; a woman's value, by contrast, is assumed from the start.
