I'm 5'7 at 19 btw

He's just about 187cm(6'1.6) first thing in the morning and turned 16 a few months ago

He grew a cm a couple months ago and before that the last time he grew was 11 months ago he grew an inch

Parents 5'7 and 5'10

He hit puberty at around an average time, slightly early maybe, his big main growth spurt was from 5'2 to 5'11, alot slower before and after that

Was 5'9 after turning 13, 5'10-11 late 13

Do you think he's done now or will he keep growing

Exactly this. Both my parents are above average in height, so it makes sense for me to be talller, but I have never outgrown my father because my mother is too short for that.
His parents are short and yet his mom pushed out a giant? Then again, he should look at the his parents' parents. Maybe one of them is tall and his brother got those genes?

Based on him being already 187 cm at 16 I'd guess that he will grow to be 190 cm which is slightly above 6'2 I think.

Both my parents have lots of siblings, so I see how faulty this logic is. My Dad is 5'5, my Mum is 5'2-3, I'm 5'8. My Dad has 3 brothers, all short. My Mum has 3 brothers, all fairly tall. Which explains my height. My Mum actually says I remind her of one of her brothers particularly. It seems like I got a chunk of his genes, as he's tall, smart, prone to depression, and is the only male in the family who hasn't gone bald (like me).
