I am often bored but I don't view it as a bad thing. It allows one to explore inward and steers you toward creation rather than consumption.

I'll tell you what it could be. He's (or she) is likely fishing. They're probably trying to datamine the forum and get a statistically significant sample to build a profile for the average forum-goER. For what? Their blog, study or whatever, doesn't matter.
These kids of threads are usually sus, especially here of all places.

This is interesting. I was kind of thinking about stuff like this when I was on a bit of a night walk earlier.
How... really the two best things to focus on in life are social things (including romantic partners and so on) and financial.
Nothing else really seems to yield reasonable results.
That's not to say you can be happy with just money but it seems to be better than almost anything else, other than a good social life.
I saw this doomer video once where the guy tried to change his life by working out and cleaning his room and getting healthy. But for most people that really won't do that much to benefit your life I don't think, at least not in this society.
It really does seem to be 99% about money or social life.
