How much contentment/happiness is to be found in regular sexual activity?

Is the man who has a rotating harem happier than one who only has one woman? Are they both happier than incels?

I don't like the implication of many posts that regular sexual activity = happiness. At best I expect it to get you to a place of neutrality. Kind of like how NOT having money makes you miserable, but having money just takes you to a neutral place.

We are hardwired to pay much attention to what we lack and be unhappy because of that lack -- but fullfilling that need doesn't necessarily bring happiness.

The one thing that really bothers me though is you kind of need a woman to have "respectability." People will respect you more if you have a looks-matched girlfriend, as if they can't help but confer some status to you by virtue of you being romantically attached to a woman. Having a girlfriend/wife says to the world "at least one woman has found me non-threatening and not so creepy as to regularly sleep with me." This includes your work colleagues and professional network.
