How many of y'all posted on PuaHate.com in the SlutHate section? I think that's where the birth of modern incel culture transpired. I think I was there from 2012 or something but mostly lurked and learned lookology for surgeries. I remember when Elliot Rodger started posting, he immediately stood out, there was a kind of urgency in his writing that no one else had, later we found out why.

Been out of the "game" now for a while, but have been checking in on Lookism, r/incels, r/braincels and now I thought I'd make an account here too. Amazing to see the growth of incel culture!

Unfortunately I was only made aware of the whole incel community after ER. Keep in mind that most posters here are teenagers, which means that back in 2013 they were 12-13 and so not likely to be posting on PuaHate. There are still a few OGs here such as FACEandLMS and Ryo tho

Ahh, I see. I was 17 in 2012, now 23. I got the feeling that most people were older than me on PuaHate when I first started lurking, but maybe the overall base has gotten younger.

I think its correct to assume that most people on PuaHate were in their early 20s, but the thing is that like with any userbase be it 4chan or reddit most people eventually get laid and move on and a new batch of teens and early 20s guys take their place, there are very few legit truecels who stay

Yeah, actually I think the majority of incel culture can be traced back there, it was amazing to see it all unfold. It was there that people started sprouting all the different theories, -cel lingo, jargon. I remember people worshipping George Sodini in the beginning, I don't know if he still has any status or if people in the community even know who he is.

And all those that were there, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe Chad was an established term around 2012? I remember the Greensborough Jock being posted for the first time and people started calling him Chad, but I don't know if it grew from there or if it originated somewhere else.

In 2012, I was in an actual PUA lair trying to get ass. I don't think PUA is trash, but the looks theory is definitely legit. PUA will just help normies who could get laid maybe like once a year by chance. If you are a normie, PUA will help A LOT. Just don't pay for shit unless you want to get scammed. For incels it is over before it even began.
