I haven't had a friend in 27 years (I'm over age 35), and my mom died a year ago so I'm totally alone in the world now. (Dad died when I was 10 , and I'm an only child, and the rest of my family doesn't care about me).

Zero online, zero in real life. I lost all my friends. If something happen to me or I died, nobody would know. I am in a homeless halfway house right now and if they happened to be an underground organ harvesting organization, there would've been nothing I could've done to get word out. I was in the military reserves until recently and they were the only ones who would've noticed and started looking for me if something happened to me. Honestly you guys are the closest to my "friends".
