28 and KHHV, just got a job that makes coping way easier tbh. I have almost no time now to think about my absolutely miserable life. Also, i drink, smoke weed (when i can, only weekends) and eat all i want (im almost never hungry due to depression, but when im hungry, i eat whatever i feel like, i dont care about my health at all), read philosophy, playing games (at the moment just LOL, but im planning buying a switch... even tho i dont even know what games are availabe for the console... )
But, as @StormlitAqua implies... there is only one true cope, religion, and unfortunetly its not for everyone. I really tried to become a buddhist (i even lived as a monk for some time, just to taste that kind of life) and i gave up. I dont know if im just too high T or what, but desire kills me since im 16 and i just cant pretend its not there.
Good luck bro. Weed is a very good cope inho anyway, so i personally recommend you to not quit it.

Zelda BOTW is a solid 7.5/10 with at least 80 hours of decent gameplay. Mario Odyssey is an 8.5 that is not devoid of content ans has super fluid controls and mechanics. I have heard great things about octopath traveler but never played it. 5ma5h is coming out next Friday. SMT 5 will come out eventually and hopefully it will be better than 4 (SMT 3 is a godlike game although @Indari disagrees in this thread). While there's not a ton, there are few current games and a few in the future worth looking into.

Sorry, but I do not think religion as a whole is a good cope, only specifically Christianity. I cannot recommend people any false doctrine, only doctrine which professes the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Son of God whom was God himself. Religion that leads you away from this saving Grace will only lead to unhapiness and eternal damnation.

It always surprises me how serious you take your christian faith. Ive read tons of christian philosophers and theologists (ive been reading about rahner and tillich lately for example, i think ill buy some of their books to read them directly soon) and i know that your way of thinking is the correct one. There is no such thing as tolerance towards other religions in chriatianity, at least when we talk about doctrine and salvation. Very true. I kind of appreciate your ortodoxy (is that even a word in english? Cant check on the phone right now lol) because one of the reasons i abandoned buddhism was the complete lack of it, i mean, the fact that there is not a serious doctrine, moat of it was new age bullshit and bad translations of misanderstood texts, which made practicing the religion pointless... They wanted as many followers as possible, so they would tolerate litteraly everything (like sex, alcohol, eating meat) and ignore the main goal of buddhism (erradicating desire through harsh and unconfortable practices that are not compatible with most moder ways of life...)
Maybe one day i can be so sure about anything related to chriatianity or religion in general as you are. At the moment, i just keep reading... As always.
