How long would it realistically take somebody with a fast metabolism to gain 20lbs off eating 3000 calories a day ?
It’s self explanatory a person with a slow metabolism would be obese if they are 3000 calories a day while a person with a fast metabolism would barely reach a normal weightI hate when people say they have fast metabolisms. It doesn't tell us anything, you can't give actual info on how your metabolism differs from the norm.
It is metabolism I know people that gain weight without eating 3000 calories day they can eat 2100 or 2050 and still gain 10-15lbs I can’t even gain 5lbs off 2100 caloriesI don't believe that to be true, 3000 calories is an objective amount of energy. Anyone would increase in weight if they ate that much, unless they are a nordic giant and require like 5000 calories to gain mass. Your framing of "barely reach a normal weight" is just incorrect. Weight has more to with calories in vs out, having a slow or fast metabolism doesn't factor into that. It's really that simple. Most people who think they have fast metabolisms aren't eating enough consistently. They'll eat junk food and say they have fast metabolisms because they are still skinny - in reality they just aren't eating as much as they think.
What’s the difference between a fast metabolism and slow metabolism?
Someone with a fast metabolism or fast BMR burns a lot of calories even while at rest. If you have a slow metabolism or slow BMR, your body needs fewer calories to keep it going.
A fast metabolism does not necessarily lead to thinness. In fact, studies show that people with overweight/obesity often have fast metabolisms. Their bodies need more energy to keep basic body functions going.

What Is Metabolism?
Contrary to popular belief, your metabolism represents more than just how many calories you use in a day. Learn more.my.clevelandclinic.org
That’s my point people with slow metabolism don’t have to eat 6 meals a day to gain weight like I do2100 calories is not a lot. Increase it by 300-500 calories. You are you, not other people. I personally struggle to eat a lot so my weight stays the same all year. I'd have to eat around 2600 every day in order to gain weight. I am 6 feet tall, so I would need more food that a shorter person - but not always.
fast metabolism is a meme, no such thing, two guys of same height / weight will always need the same amount to gain / loseI don't believe that to be true, 3000 calories is an objective amount of energy. I need at least 3000 calories to gain weight most people my height don’t need that much they only need 2300 to 2500fast metabolism is a meme, no such thing, two guys of same height / weight will always need the same amount to gain / lose
I can’t get 3000 calories outta 3 meals6 meals a day? Stop exaggerating, just eat 3 meals with snacks inbetween. And in the article I linked, fat people tend to have high metabolisms as they burn a lot of calories, thus they need to eat a ton to maintain their mass or grow. Just stop making excuses and do what is necessary. Eat more if you want, or don't.
3000 calories is nothing, Americans eat 4000 daily because of how much they are over fed just start eating without watching how much calories ur eating and you will gain weight niggaI need at least 3000 calories to gain weight most people my height don’t need that much they only need 2300 to 2500
stfu fast metabolism is not realThat's objectively just not true. People's bodies are different and respond differently to various stimuli. One person with a higher metabolic rate will burn more calories than someone with an average or lower metabolic rate. This is just science.
Ok so explain how I gained 25 pounds in 4 weeksFucking retards on this site, I swear. All it takes is a fucking google search dimwits.
Does metabolism vary between two people?

This article explains that there is a difference between metabolic rate at both resting and exercise. The difference in resting isn't that huge, but increases when exercise is involved. Depends on lean muscle mass, height, weight, age, type of training, etc. Fat people also have higher metabolic rates as they burn more energy and thus need more food in order to maintain their mass.
OP, why do you want to gain fat?How long would it realistically take somebody with a fast metabolism to gain 20lbs off eating 3000 calories a day ?
