The suicide rate is already increasing among men. Suicide by itself does nothing. Even mass suicide is pointless. The enemies we face don't care if men kill themselves. Only that we do it and don't try anything bettER. See the feds that monitor this website. What is really needed is for the homicide rate, and in particular the homicide of those with cultural influence, to increase. Hopefully this message becomes more popular among males. Only for young males that can still be molded into what society wants for them. Past the age of 30 society doesn't care as much about even stopping males from committing suicide they just don't make it easy or allow relatively painless ways of doing so.

Drinking and taking drugs is the kind of cope and escapism normies engage in when they are going through tough times so I'd expect them to revert to that once they realize self improvement and hustling and grinding isn't really getting them anywhere long term. Less likely to happen in the US because of the persistent laws originating from religious beliefs but now entrenched in the culture about how the government shouldn't decide who lives or dies or provide assisted death services. But the death penalty where the government decides whether someone lives or dies is fine with many against assisted death services. Weird country.
