im 24,highschool dropout and never had a job.Got my ged 4 years ago and did absolutely nothing.I'm at the bottom tier of society and will never achieve anything that society will consider as an achievement. The most i can hope to do is find a quiet place to ride out the pathetic failure thats my life in peace and quiet till i die a miserable and lonely death.

I will probably not be alive for much longer in the future and die somewhere in my 30s.Forget sex and relationships,i'm not even meeting the basic standards for being a human being.

Damn same dude. I need to get my GED but is it really worth it?

it opens alot of doors, you can't even join the army without a GED and thats my last resort if my current ambition of getting a job as a TLC driver doesn't work out.

I don't care, I just want to be neet
Yeah same but i’m tired of being stuck in a house. You can’t relate because you have gone to school and haven’t ran your laziness out. You can barely make anything living as a NEET. Byw neet do you mean living with parents or living alone and collecting a check

What types of jobs require a GED?

almost everything that isn't in retail or the food service industry.Even being a plumber,or a car repair guy requires a GED
Fuck dude i thought so. How hard are the tests and what do u usually study?

the GED test is very easy or HSE for nycels , i passed it with just guessing most of the questions in the math section and just using common sense and if your first language is english, the english section will be a breeze.I ditched most of the classes in the first place and was sure I wasn't gonna pass until they told me just to try it once and ended up passing.

I haven’t learned anything since i dropped out in 2013. You think it’ll be hard to do basic shit? I only remember some simple math really

How much do u make
I don't have any income ,i got my GED 4 years ago at 20 and just kept on putting off joining college due to past trauma in a school environment and became a NEET,although now i have no choice but to get a job and I'm in the process of getting a license to drive uber which would pay around 80k a year before taxes since my brother in law also does uber too .My income is like 100 bucks a month ,my mom gives me every month as an allowance :feelsrope:

I thought anyone could work for uber or door dash.

i never passed algebra 1,you'll be fine.Just attend the classes and pay attention and they will teach you everything from scratch. If you just remember even a portion of what you learn you'll be fine. the classes were like 3 hours a day for 5 days for me atleast, not a big commitment.

What hours do they let you come in? Also how long does it take? I heard 3 months

i think it might different for people living in nyc.Your required to get a TLC license to do uber and that requires going to some classes and passing an exam, costs around 700 bucks to apply for it.I have the test in 3 days from now. Tho for uber eats ,there is no requirement for a license and it doesn't really pay well.My brother in law was making close to 500 dollars on a good day doing Uber.

it may differ, but for me it was 9am to 12pm and yeah you can complete it early ,it depends on a case by case basis and you can ask them to schedule a test if you think your ready whenever you want. For me it took a year since i was enough of a loser to even skip GED classes and wasn't really confident in passing in the first place.:feelsrope:

yeah it's mainly cause he's not renting out a TLC plate. He was lucky enough to get TLC plates before nyc stopped handing them out in 2018 due to the insane amount of people doing uber. Now people have to rent TLC licensed cars from other people or bases and they're not making nearly as much.Maybe 200 dollars on a good day ,you can make if you rent out the car. This is only for nyc tho ,im not sure how its done in other states.

You might want to double-check that figure with him.- That equates to a yearly salary of $130,000.- It would be almost impossible for an Uber driver to earn that much, just sayin'

it's true, the really good drivers who know the right times and where to hail passengers in the city really make bank.He got 500 dollars on a GOOD day before. At bare minimum you can definitely make 100 dollars a day profit from doing uber if your insanely lazy but that won't even break even if your renting out a tlc licensed car.I remember my instructor saying renting out a TLC plated car costs 300 dollars a week ,so to make profit, you have to make alot more money. Plus,my brother in law isnt renting a car,he owns his own plates.

No way you can make that much in a shitty town like mine. NYC is huge

yeah, the location of where you do uber definitely matters.Small town drivers will never make that much.

these are the types of cunts that look down on people for "not working hard enough" despite the fact that they were privileged to even be able to work that young
