Do you just walk into a gym and start lifting stuff? How do you even know what to do? Any tips?
 
I bought weights and use them at home. It should be same for gym tho. Basically you need to know what muscle groups you want to grow, and the best exercises to use for them.

Examples: squat for legs, bench for chest, curls for biceps, exc exc

Then, just make a schedule of different movements that will incorporate everything you need. Like Monday you work chest and legs, Wednesday you work back and biceps, Friday you work triceps and forearms. Shit like that.

Then just put it into practice. Lift the heaviest you can do for 4-12 reps to failure in general. It's really simple
 
Watch some vids online for how to do it then copy them mate
 
You don't even need to pay for the gym just do calisthenics. working out is just providing stimulus for muscle growth, your diet is 70 percent of the muscle building process.

Do some cardio first on the bikes first to warm up
 
Do something fun, I bought myself a ball and freestyle juggle for 10 minutes outside then my exercise is done for the day
