The next stage in evolution beyond humanity is Homo-psi. These creatures will look look like humans except with much larger rounder skulls with smaller bodies. They will live much longer. They will be hyper-intelligent. They will possess psychic powers of all sorts and be able to manipulate space-time to varying degrees. Their focus will be to try to achieve teleportation (as opposed to the small minded humans that focus on light speed travel).
These creatures exist today amongst us imo but only in small numbers. As in only about several of them out of several billion humans. They look like us but are much more evolved. Humans with psychic powers basically. They usually avoid the spotlight and positions of power. They influence human thoughts and emotions.

Humanity is not going anywhere. We've heard this delusion of the supposed end of humanity for centuries now. Not going to happen. Even if 99% of humans died out in a catastrophic event, the remaining 1% would continue the process. Not only there are billions of humans all over the world, more and more are born everyday. Some live in civilizations, others in tribes, and many immigrate frequently.
I can't fathom any event that could lead to the destruction of every single human organism to the point where our entire species would be gone. Time to end this absurdity. Humanity is going to survive.
