How do you act when walking behind of a femoid?

So I encounter this dilemma almost on a daily basis. I want to go from A to B and there is a woman walking in front of me. I have 4 options:

• Overtake her
• Follow her at the same walking speed
• Slow down and keep a greater distance
• Go ER

Overtaking her might make her think I'm about to rape her. Following her at the same walking speed is obviously creepy if you're ugly. Slowing down is what I do most of the times, but it makes me feel like a female-worshiping cuck. Why should I slow down just because she is afraid of me? I'm not at the point of going ER yet.

Sometimes though, I cross the road to avoid her mistaking my walking in the same direction as me following her, but sometimes, she at the same time, tries to cross the road to escape my ugliness and we both end up on the other side of the road.
