How do we know this isnt a dream?

I just had 1 of those dreams where you're close to awake but still dreaming so it's more vivid and your mind more observant and you really believe that it is reality
When I woke I took a few seconds till I reliazed it was a dream and I only awoke now

I had dream within a dream within a dream and so on. It is extremly hard to wake up from this. It was a loop of dreams leading to another dream.
