Nobody ever says this, but if you are frequently going to the gym, stop for a week or 2 and see how much more productive you are. The gym completely burns you out. The stress on your body makes you focus less in the long run, you need to sleep more, eat more, etc.
As soon as I stopped the gym I started having energy again to do what I needed to. My eye bags almost completely went away within a few months too.
