It's not irrational. People see you and they make loads of assumptions based on how you look and if you're ugly they are usually bad.

Definitely has an effect. It's all the little things that people observe subconsciously.
A completely normal reaction to the highly atomized, hyper-surveilled society we're in and because there is no longer a shared national or cultural identity in the west (assuming you're Western) it will only worsen. I always felt a widespread in group bias towards me. Don't led the public hive effect you. I recommend reading the the remnant Albert Nock because he has a very interesting approach to this.

People already have made a decision in their mind who they will approve and disapprove because they've been brainwashed by the media. We don't fit in that category so we disgust them. Any niceness is usually fake.
