How do I set boundaries with other people?

I’ve always struggled with letting myself be walked all over. I let other people do what they want and have a hard time saying no. Can anyone else relate? Does anyone else have issues setting boundaries with others even when you want to?

i avoid people, not the right strategy as you better learn some active measure rather than passive measures (like avoidance).

Just complain when they over step your boundaries.

Before I would avoid people or want to fight them but complaining in a nice way is much better. They dont feel offended, it is none violent, they dont think you avoiding them and they will know exactly where your boundaries are.

If they do it again say you so upset in a kind, nice way and complain.

If they still do it again then you know they dont respect you.
