Yup this sort of right, it's sort of like being drunk and numb to all your surroundings as if they are not real like it's a recording and you're watching a playback of reality. I have a mild form of it that comes and goes, and I have a particularly bad case of it when doing drugs, so I stay away from drugs and alcohol now.
That band is very good, cool music.
