My family has a history of depression and substance abuse. I was biologically born with a predisposition towards anxiety and depression. I tried killing myself several times at age 13. I had legitimate 11/10 inhib, and I'm not lying when I say that. I would literally get read and sweaty at the thought of standing up to blow my nose. I stuttered when I talked to new people. I was afraid to eat in public. This went on for aout 5 years, and I was shy since birth.

Bu I did overcome it. It took years of experimenting, but mostly a growing lack of respect for anyone or anything. But to say it can't be changed is false.
