I've only been here for 3 months and I've seen people post the same "God is evil" thread over and over again. This isn't just true for this forum, but for the internet in general. I just wish people would be more original instead of repeating the same talking points without much thought.

If so, then you clearly haven't understood what I'm getting at: the argument that God is evil or doesn't exist has been around since at least the Enlightenment in the 18th century and has been regurgitated a million times since then, which makes it boring and unimpressive for anyone to say it at this point.

Perhaps you should elaborate on it or provide counter arguments to their objections instead of just restating what’s already been uttered a numberless amount of times.

When you say God you are only referring to the God of Abraham. A theoretical supreme being that created the universe does not necessarily have to be an anthropomorphic entity concerned with human affairs like Yahweh is.
Around 4.5 billion people are either Christian or Muslim, both believe in an all loving God, I have a problem with what they're worshipping, the fact a being created the universe is something I think of as unlikely; but that's not what I'm criticizing, I'm criticizing the picture of an all loving God, ESPECIALLY when you have been mistreated your entire life for your looks that God gave you, while simultaneously knowing how HIS CREATIONS would treat you. Sounds absolutely ridiculous if you ask me.
If that's what you believe, fine. But it is unlikely that you will convince many with this argument alone, because it is the most common argument that has been made for centuries against the existence of a loving God. People will continue to cling to their faith no matter what you tell them.

Wdym? Against the existence of God? There is no precise way to objectively disprove God in general. You can make compelling arguments against it, but no way to prove it for sure. If you want to criticize theistic interpretations of God, you can point out inconsistencies and errors in religious text, but that's a whole can of worms as that would involve having to consider several theological interpretations.

If you have both a heaven and a hell, and if you have the concept of free will, then all-loving and all-wrathful, as attributes, are analogous to a human being having the capacity to get angry and violent but also choose to show love and care.
