- On a diet to reduce body fat percentage. Likely a cope in itself, but I feel I should at least try getting to 10% bf first. So I can't stuff my face.

- Had to leave my desktop PC at home when I got kicked out, so no vidya.

- Obviously no friends or other social circle.

- Can't get drunk because the hostel here bans alcohol.

some suggestions:

- listen to music

- pencil (+eraser) drawing (started this cope a few weeks ago with no prior experience or talent, started to copy pictures in magazines, books, etc. with just patience and precision you can get impressive results, quite relaxing, I also listen to music while doing this)

- go for a walk or go jogging, if you have nice surroundings

- there are a few nice bars you can just walk in and talk to people/the barkeeper. And I say that beeing shy with bad social skills. Just look for a bar that is not too crowded and has a kind of alternative vibe. What about your hostel, does it have its own bar too?

- look for public events at the weekend, if there is a uni nearby they often have stuff like that where you are not weird for coming alone, or look at christian places, they are always welcoming

- look for facebook groups like "new in [town name]" or meetups.com to find meetups

- gymcelling of course if you have the money

What the bitch doesn't get, is that lookism affects career too. Unless you're super lucky with in demand skills (I'm not, we're talking about me maxing out as a middle management pen pusher) you'll be looked over for promotions in favour of Chad.

And let's not even get into the fact that money is supreme cope and without pussy you'll still be miserable. So I said I'm going back to SEA when I graduate as life's a lot easier over there. She didn't take it well, but fuck it, she's been dragging me down for fucking years, her shit parenting is probably part of the reason I ended up like I am anyway. Hope I never speak to her again. Went nearly 2 years in Thailand without speaking to her...it was fucking bliss.

She was fine when I went for 2 and a half years as she just saw it as a gap year type of thing. I originally came back to the UK with the idea of staying (2 and a half years abroad made me forget quite how bad the UK was, you see...). Anyway, obviously in the following year I concluded that the UK sucks and I can't possibly be happy here. Told her that and she had a meltdown. All about personality and kunfidence and hard work, apparently. JFL.

Would legit rather earn $1,500 a month in Asia than $10,000 a month in the UK. And I'd be very very VERY lucky to even make $10,000 a month in the UK, we're probably talking like $5,000 a month max after 10 years of kissing corporate ass.
