The Halo effect is a form of cognitive bias, in which our overall physical impression of a person impacts our impressions of their character / personality. Therefore goodlooking people will be assumed to have good personalities while ugly men easily get branded with negative attributes. A very interesting one is the word "creepy"; one hardly ever - if ever - hears a female call a Chad aka a at least 8/10 "creepy". Meanwhile ugly and below average looking men will very quickly be called "creeps" for just approaching women openly.

Also here is more of a funny one to show how females will react differently based on the way a guy looks:
And lastly: Something that is also related to the halo-effect - since attractive people are assumed to be better people in general they get treated far better. A study has found that good-looking people are far more likely to believe that life is fair in comparison to less attractive ones. So they prescribe to the "just-world fallacy"
