Can we all stop trying to be someone we aren’t? we wear not masks to hide but to conceal the fractures beneath, desperate to look flawless in a world that only values perfection. We are wired to seek acceptance, admiration, and love. Yet this instinct leads us in a relentless performance. WE sculpt our appearances, craft our words, and curate our lives. Not to express who we truly are, but to fit an ideal we think others expect. Beneath the surface many of us carry deep mental scars or insecurities but the fear of rejection pushes us to present only polished version of ourselves. I want to go outside for once, without giving a care in the world what Chad or Stacy thinks of me, if someone I know sees me, I want them to love me for who I really am. Not just my appearance. I want to be looked at and my face not be the first thing they notice out of me.
