The way I see it, is that height only takes importance over face if you're actually tall.

Something such as 5'11-6'0 isn't that tall imo, and even then you still need to be 6'2+ to get the full height halo in the West.

I don't think anyone is saying it's better to be a 9/10 5'5'' guy over being 6'4'' and 5/10. For 99% of people, height will give them more points than face. But at the extremes, face is slightly more beneficial.

Say you are of average-ish height (5'10'') and have an average face. Do you add 5 inches in height or become 8/10 in the face?

Height also naturally makes you more intimidating. It’s a natural biological impulse for both men and women to feel insecure when a man literally towers over them.
