In other words did they already accept your application, if not THAN DONT GO, you will be competing with the top of the top of India, and you will be paying an extremely expensive rent aswell which wont help your income if you want to get a relatively high paying tech job than your best chance is to work from home and settle for everything (cept if its commission based or they offer you an intern position with a shitty rate) but your best chance is as of right now to find relatively new companies and help them build it together and if your lucky or you're an extremely early employee they might give you shares to compensate you for your trust

I am in australia gonna be working at FAANG and my plan was to move to USA in 5-6 years into a similar tier company.

you should just go, NYC is better than Chadstralia for an incel because as high class as NYC sounds, you wont get physically mogged as much.
