I honestly can’t recall a single time that this has happened.
I’ve had pleasant interactions with women 40+ (maybe I remind them of their shut-in kids) but girls my age have always, consistently been put off by my presence. They’re never receptive; no smiles, no pleasantries, one word replies... I think what bothers me the most is that I notice that they NEVER look at me directly, like they can’t even stand to be face-to-face.
And with that gloriously negative reception there’s still people that are like “just put yourself out there”, when I’m rejected from the get-go.
Does this happen to anyone else?
