Have you ever talked to someone who was mean to you out of desperation for someone to talk to?

I was just remembering I used to talk to this guy who was a bully. He would call me stupid, retarded, and make fun of me all the time. But at that time in my life I had no one to talk to so I pretended I wasn't upset that he was laughing at me. Now I don't talk to him any more because I stopped doing him favors so he didn't see a point of talking any more. Also I have some people to talk to from .is so I'm not as lonely any more.

Have you guys ever been in a similar situation?

I know what you mean, I had a few people I talked to in high school but they never contacted me first and in college they literally never contacted me first and so I stopped and never heard from them again. Most people are like that actually. They never think of us
