Have you ever gone hunting?

I have a few times with male relatives, particularly with my father and grandfather. In all the trips I've been on, not once have I had the opportunity to shoot game myself. Would like to go on another trip with my relatives, better than LDARing all day.

No, but I want to go deer hunting. I live in a very rural area and they congregate in the fields and forests on either side of the road and they like to dart out of the culverts without warning. A third of the tenants where I live have deer-related damage to their cars and they wrecked the last car I had.

I like animals, don't get me wrong, but it seems like a relatively swift death from a bullet resulting in tasty deer meat would be a better way to die than being mangled by a car and bleeding out for possibly hours if I was a deer.
