The difference is that Communism has proven not to work economically as you still end up with most being poor, but with no funding for socialist programs, and a few elite rich, at least with capitalism you get wealth for socialist programs (even if most people still are poor, but with communism most are still poor). Also remember enforced monogamy was proven to work.
