I get into heated arguments all the time with my libertarian friends who believe small government and free markets are the answer to everything. I've cited numerous examples of command style economies solving problems that markets failed to, I've cited China, Singapore, South Korea, Imperial Germany and countless other examples where command style economics are what drove society forward.

I believe the next step is controlling demographics this way. We right now have a close-to unregulated market for dating. Top down command style economy planning, pairing people up and strongly encouraging monogamy could be our way out.

Yea, I absolutely agree. State mandated wives fix everything.

At the very least, the means that enable hypergamy and informal polygamy must be regulated; even if one were to argue you cannot force people to be together, you can most certainly force them not to practice dating behaviors that disrupt intersexual dynamics. The dating market in its current state is almost in a state of anarchy, and the consequences are clearly detrimental.

I agree with you but you'd be retarded to convince your normie lolbertarian friends that shit is like moon runes to their smooth brains

it makes sense,if you can get a court appointed attorney provided from state funds because you are unable to pay for your own, unemployement benefits, foodstamps, disability check and all other shit you should also have a right to be provided with a wife by state if you can prove that you arent able to find one by yourself

They're Communist/Socialist nations
All three opened up their economies to trade and foreign investment, allowed market prices to allocate resources and integrated into the global capitalist system.

All three still have state commanded and owned enterprise.

Nigga, all those nations are examples of the free market and capitalism creating prosperity.
South Koreas modernization is attributed the miracle on the han river which saw state controlled, heavily regulated economic practices from General Park Chung Hee. He was literally influenced by the ussr lol

Yes but that isn't the reason why they are rich, North Korea and Russia have plenty of state owned enterprise, and they are incredibly poor. The Soviet Union collapsed and it had only state owned enterprise.

South Korea was export focused and integrated into the global capitalist market which means the development came from international competition and not central planning.

I actually have a thread where I dived into the USSR. It was incredibly wealthy before the collapse, people had food, apartments, etc.

Libertarians are the ones nearest to the Liberal incoherence singularity. Logical explosion demands their entire worldview to be contradictory and stupid.

12% of the population lived below the Soviet governments own poverty line by the 1980s and 9 million people were in waiting lists for homes that took years before they got one. Black markets were rampant and food had to be rationed.

So were those people homeless?

So were those people homeless?
They lived in cramped communal apartments where multiple unrelated families shared quarters. Sure they eliminated visible homelessness by criminalising it but shoving a problem under the rug does not solve the root issue.

So how is that any different than today? Actually that sounds better because I'd rather share quarters than be homeless. Look outside, people are homeless.
