I was homeless for about 10 months. Depending on where you live its not hard to survive, there's usually a lot of places you can get food or water, and I was making $50-60 a day panhandling, but if you live somewhere with bad weather you're fucked. When it got too cold I had to sleep in shelters but those are some of the worst places on earth so you want to avoid them as much as possible.

My parents disowned me so I get a lot in aid from the government since their income isnt factored in.
