I been watching a lot of martial arts videos and I found myself impressed on how good it is for self defense. I personally done few months of Muay Thai then stopped and I tell u something it’s a very hard sport. Have any of u brocels done martial arts did it help u in any way

it required too much social interaction i only did arm wrestling for little time

Yeah I mean it’s a good idea for someone who doesn’t know how to fight. But maybe someone knows krav mega or has a gun too risky right

Jiu jitsu, mma, and kick boxing. The thing is in a self defense scenario a lot of times the guy will pull a knife or gun or backup so im not sure how great martial arts is for self defense

i haven't but if you could find a good wrestling gym i would recommend since that's the most op martial arts you can learn. bjj, boxing and karate gyms are probably easier to come by though.

Yeah but they are not good for self defense my opinion Muay Thai mma and maybe some kung fu are the best

got stuck at kids brown belt for karate because too adhd to remember the shit to get promoted like 12 years ago

Karate is not even good for this age

I would just growl as loud as I can and defend myself with my incredible speed and teeth

I did boxing for 8 months and got pretty good. Unfortunately I'm not confident so it doesn't show outside the gym. I'm waiting to go back because a tore a couple ligaments in my foot

I agree, most of the fights that I have gotten into have been unfair for me, thugs always hang around and attack in groups, you're better off carrying a weapon or running away if you can't carry,

i want to try muay thai, im doing some exercises from the 72 arts of shaolin.

Wish I got into martial arts at a young age so that I could have brutally beaten my bullies in school. It's a huge mistake that the only thing that shaped my world back then were video games. Anyways I've never trained shit in my life.

I did Ji-jitsu for seven years and boxing for four. Boxing is very overrated. None of that training matters when you fight an opponent with good kicks. Ji-Jitsu is a great place to start then work your way into Muay Thai. Ji-jitsu is helpful for when the fight gets to the ground, and Muay Thai is good for before it ends up on the ground. Sorry for the water is wet.
