Has anyone went back to work after being a NEET for a long time?

I had 1 job at 18 years old stocking shelves at a grocery store back in 2016, but quit after a few months. Got on disability at 21 years old in 2019 for Schizoaffective disorder. Now at 25 I’m thinking I need to get a job so I can have more money. I’d go for some wageslave one until I could get a car and look into a trade.

never too late to quit rotting

I'm in the process of doing that. Was a recluse who only left the house for groceries, for 5 years, in a abusive household. And now I'm living somewhere else, and putting my resume out there.

Put it on about 4 places until now, no calls for now...

Good luck. I was going to apply for a job at Walmart but the website started glitching on my phone.

No. All of my attempts failed.
Brutal I dropped out of high school my last year but end up getting my GED. Never even tried for college don’t know if there’s much of a point at 25 now. I wish I could’ve had a normal college experience. I thought I was too poor to go lol.

I haven't worked for 16 years. Planning on starting my own business.

Good luck seems complicated.
Thanks. Not really, it's going to be an online business. Low risk. I'd only get back into work if you're in charge, or it's something you enjoy doing, or you can make really good money. Standard wage slaving isn't worth it.

It’d be easier if I had a car. I just don’t get enough money from disability to live comfortably with my addictions. I keep going into the negatives each month in my bank account.

Plus I have nothing to do all day besides stare at my phone.

Maybe I just need to get better at saving money for now.

If you're in a country where gambling is allowed you can likely do Matched Betting. Here in the UK you can make an easy £800-£1k/month doing it (just ~3 hours of work per day). This is the UK site for doing it: https://outplayed.com/ You can probably do it using a VPN, but some gambling sites require a UK ID to join.

There's also ewhoring. https://www.blackhatworld.com/tags/ewhoring/

Anything is better than wageslaving, for me.

I’ve never thought of gambling before. I’ve always seen it as something where the odds of you actually winning anything are heavily stacked against you. So there’s not much point unless you just get insanely lucky.

It's not gambling really, it's exploiting promotion offers for guaranteed wins.
